Our April Share the Plate Recipient is; the Friends of the Saugatucket.

The Friends of the Saugatucket formed in 2021 to advocate for the river’s health and help the surrounding community connect with this wonderful resource running straight through the villages of Peace Dale and Wakefield. The friends strive to improve the health of the river and watershed while working in partnership with other organizations, and state and local government toward shared goals.
