UUA Vote – Safe Elections During COVID-19

UU the Vote’s mission is to get out the vote and to fight voter suppression, which especially victimizes people of color, immigrants, and people in poverty. Please – call Senators Reed and Whitehouse and Representatives Cicilline and Langevin, and ask family and friends in other states to call their MOCs: In this time of the pandemic crisis, Congress must require that all states offer vote-by-mail to every voter, and Congress must appropriate the funding for safe voting in every state. For more information, contact WUCUUtheVote@gmail.com.

Postage needed for Vote Forward letters
Please consider sending stamps and/or a donation to the church office at 119 Kenyon Avenue to help defray the cost of postage for our ”Vote Forward” letters. Include “Votefwd” on the memo line of checks. We have completed close to 1,000 letters, as of this writing, to encourage registered voters, from under-represented demographics across the country, to vote in November. These letters are a proven way to increase voter turnout. Many thanks for whatever you can do to help us
