The Dance of Impermanence

One of the core teachings in Buddhism is the idea of impermanence. Everything that rises eventually falls. Every being born eventually dies. Nothing is unchanging. While we intellectually know this is true, the real challenge we security, control-seeking humans face is how to live with this knowledge. This morning we look toward the life of Siddhartha Gautama – the Buddha for inspiration.
