UUtheVote: Vote for Environmental Justice

UUtheVote presents the first of three summer services, and its first reason to get out the vote in this year’s election: to elect leaders who will protect the planet. This Sunday, July 26th, Kevin Budris, Staff Attorney for the Zero Waste Project at the Conservation Law Foundation, will present: Plastics Pollution, Impacts on Climate and Communities. Mr. Budris first gave this presentation last May at a Climate Action RI Community Meeting. The Conservation Law Foundation has as its purpose protecting the New England environment for all people. Environmental justice is a key belief for Unitarian Universalists nationwide and for Westminsterites in particular. We welcome Mr. Budris to our summer service.
