Whether you’ve read a Stephen King book or not, you probably don’t think of him as an author full of optimism and altruism, as his reputation is that of “America’s Bogeyman”. I’ll share how there’s a Stephen King book for everyone, especially if you’re looking for good to prevail.

My bio: Lauren Hannah-Murphy grew up in a suburb of Chicago, IL, but found herself in Massachusetts while a student at Harvard Divinity School, where she earned a Master of Theological Studies (MTS). She is currently a Program Manager and Chief of Staff at Google, but has also contemplated starting a bakery, becoming a minister, and becoming a librarian. She began leading services while part of the UU group at Harvard Divinity and has been leading services at Channing Church since 2008. She also led the congregation in its efforts to become a Welcoming Congregation in 2009. She lives in Abington with her wife and two sons.
