The Fine Art of Doing Nothing!

As someone from a family without great financial resources I always dreaded the beginning of school when I’d have to hear about the great trips others had been on. And yet I also noticed that though I did not have pictures to share I did have the wonderful memories of time doing not a thing – aside from wondering in the woods or playing in the back yard or daydreaming on a lawn chair. This service is an ode to wondering and as the great Christopher Robin once said: “What I like doing best is Nothing.””How do you do Nothing?” asked Pooh.”Well, it’s when people call out at you just as you’re going off to do it, What are you going to do Christopher Robin, and you say, Oh, nothing, and you go and do it… It means just going along, listening to all the things you can’t hear and not bothering.”
