Rev. Tony Lorenzen shares thoughts on how each of us is an artist and each of us creates a masterwork, an artistic accomplishment only we can achieve.
The Rev. Tony Lorenzen serves Hopedale Unitarian Parish in Hopedale, MA and currently serves as a Good Officer for the UUMA’s Clara Barton Chapter. He was born in Fitchburg, MA and grew up in Leominster, MA. He attended Fitchburg State University (then Fitchburg State College) and graduated with a B.A. in English with a double concentration in Literature and Writing in 1990. He then attended Harvard Divinity School, graduating in 1994. After graduating from HDS, Tony taught theology in urban Catholic high schools in Massachusetts for eight years. He left the Catholic Church in 2003 and entered the fellowshipping process to become a Unitarian Universalist Minister. He was ordained on June 3, 2007 by his home congregation in Leominster, MA. He has served churches in Texas and Massachusetts. He currently lives in Milford, MA where he is an elected Town Meeting Member and serves on the board of the Milford area Humanitarian Coalition. He loves to play guitar. He is a chess and cribbage player and enjoys geocaching. He is a huge fan of U2, Bruce Springsteen, and of course, the Boston Red Sox. Keep up with Rev.
