Ritual as a Doorway to Your Deeper Self : Services at 9 am & 10:30

Join us for a sampler day Sunday, May 4th, with services at 9:00 a.m. & 10:30 am.
Mark your calendars and come to one or both services!

This morning, we consider the power of imagination and the role of ritual in our lives. We all live on multiple levels: the level of the forward-facing / external self that others meet and interact with, which tends to be more pragmatic and comfortable with the known, and our inner, perhaps quieter or more subtle self, which likes to play in the realm of thought and feeling and imagination. When our external world makes too many demands on our attention, it can be easy to forget that this second self is also present and oh so wonderful. Join us as we explore the many ways imagination and ritual can show up in our lives and be a doorway to our deeper selves.  Note: Our 9 am service offers a quieter worship experience and includes more time for reflection.

After extensive discussion and deep consideration of many options, Rev. Deborah, the Board of Trustees, and staff are excited to announce that beginning in September, we will be offering two Sunday morning services:

a 9 a.m., 50-minute Reflective service and
a 10:30 a.m., 1 hour Traditional Service with Time for All Ages and our YRE programming.

Overflow seating will be offered in Smith Hall for both services.
Coffee and Conversation will be offered between services from 9:45 – 10:30 a.m., with the possibility of a second coffee time at 11:30 a.m.
