Buddhist Practices for Lightening up Our New Year
We have decked the halls, now we can clear the decks to make a fresh start. We will explore practices for clearing our consciousness, and resolving all conflicts with ourselves and others. We can begin anew for the new year by deepening our love and compassion for ourselves and each other.
Joanne Friday has been a student of Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh for over 25 years. He ordained her and gave her authority to teach in 2003. She is the guiding teacher for the seven meditation groups that comprise the RI Community of Mindfulness. She considers the Dharma to be the greatest gift she has received and her greatest joy is to be able to share it.
