UU Values Challenge (Fall) & Our Whole Lives (Spring)
UU Values Challenge is designed for active, neurodiverse 9 to 14 year olds who benefit from more experiential learning. The guiding question for the curriculum is “How do our Unitarian Universalist Values challenge us — and what tools do they call and guide us to create, as we take on life’s challenges?”
Our Whole Lives (OWL) is a fact-based, age-appropriate, nationally recognized lifespan sexuality education program designed to help participants make informed decisions about their sexual health, relationships, and behavior. Taught by trained facilitators in an inclusive and developmentally appropriate manner, the curriculum addresses sensitive topics that are typically excluded from school and other more traditional “sex ed” classes. Mandatory parent orientation - time and date TBD.
