The Sharing Locker is one of Westminster’s outreach projects and has been in operation since February 2010. We serve anyone in Washington or Kent County as well as Cranston residents who are experiencing a need for assistance with non-food products and/or pet food. We currently serve between 120 - 160 individuals and families each month.
If you are need of support, please come by on any Sharing Locker day!
We are, by design, closely aligned with the Westminster vision and mission:
Through Sharing Locker service, we all continue to grow in spirit, support justice for all, care for others outside our congregation in a concrete way, and embrace all those who cross our threshold.
Is it always the 3rd Saturday?
We do our very best to be open each and every month, on schedule. One week before the opening, Sharing Locker Information will be posted on the bottom of the home page confirming the opening date and times. If there is bad weather (for instance ice or heavy snow), the Sharing Locker may be postponed. Click here to view the snow policy.
Check the website’s home page for latest information on opening date and time.

Would You Like to Volunteer?
If you are interested in volunteering at one of our Sharing Locker openings, contact our volunteer coordinator at sharinglocker@westminsteruu.
Each month a crew of dedicated volunteers sets up the items to be given away on Tuesday and then is available on Saturday to offer a heartfilled welcome to our clients and support a smooth distribution of items.
For information or to volunteer, contact Allison DeLong at sharinglocker@westminsteruu.org.
