According to research, of all the generations, Gen Z (those born roughly 1997-2012) was the most acutely, holistically impacted by the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. This generation marks the first to grow up in the “always-on” technology (with primary internet access through mobile devices), affecting their physical, spiritual, especially mental health in ways that made them particularly vulnerable to pandemic repercussions. This service will touch on some unique ways our young people’s experience of life is different than any prior generation’s, and share some simple yet powerful spiritual approaches to supporting them right now – in our youth programming, as family, and as a caring congregation.
