Rev. Eric Cherry Bio

Reverend Eric M. Cherry has served as the Minister of First Universalist Society in Franklin, MA since August, 2018. 

Previously he served as the Director of the Unitarian Universalist Association’s International Office (2007-2018. In this position, Eric managed the UUA’s relationships with U/U and interfaith partners around the world, provided resources for congregational international engagement, and supervised the staff of the UU Holdeen India Program and UU United Nations Office.  

From 1995 – 2007 Eric served UU congregations in Burlington, Iowa and N. Easton, Massachusetts.  

Eric is a graduate of Earlham College (BA) and Meadville/Lombard Theological School (M.Div).  He and his wife, Linda, make their home in Mansfield, Massachusetts.
