Westminster Unitarian Church Seeks Temporary Religious Education Coordinator

The Westminster Unitarian Church in East Greenwich, RI is seeking to hire a part-time, interim Religious Education Coordinator.  The term of employment would begin mid-August, 2007 and finish mid-June, 2008.  

The Religious Educator Coordinator position would total 5/6 units (approximately 17 hours).  Working with the Religious Education Committee, some of the Coordinator's responsibilities would include: planning and supervising the overall RE program for the church school, grades preschool through 8th grade, training and supporting teachers, creating children's weekly worship, communicating with the larger church through the Chimes and bulletin and collaborating with the Minister on Intergenerational Services.   Attendance at Religious Education Committee meetings would be expected.
